I've always thought Sephiroth from Final Fantasy VII was really....well..awesome. And I've wanted to make a charater modeled after him, but I'm haveing trouble comeing up with classes that fit his unique blend of startling magic and expert sword play. So I was hopeing for some help, Role-playing help would be great too, mind you I play on Fearun campaign setting.

I was thinking perhaps switching off between levels of sorc/wiz with fighter until I can get spellsword prc, unless Eldric Knight would make more sense.

Any help would be positivly spiffen, many thanks!

maybe you can convince your DM to allow you to use the samurai and or the iaijutsu master prc. (this is the figthing stile he uses)
than combine these classes with the sorceror (no wizards he has a high charisma , and dosn't use a spell book) and the eldrich night and you've got you're sephirot (remember people who are as good as sephiroth in both magic and fighting are not really possible with the D&D system)

the spell sword isn't as good as the night, and sephiroth dosn't use armour.

hope this helps

his magic comes only from his materia....go straight fighter and beg your DM to let you use the materia d20 book.

The iaijutsu master thing is a good idea, however I think the Samuri's code of honor thing kinda conflicts with sephiroths general out look on life. 'course I'll kinda hafta tone down the "grrr...all humans must die!" thing. but for roleplaying purposes he'll show a kinda aloof, demeaner and look at disdain on people, always excepecting the worse from them. Perhaps later I can get my DM to let me take the half celestial template... or perhaps make some sort of "infernal angel" template.

Any Ideas?

You can ignore up to 3 virtues but you have to be more focused on the others (even bayuchi and daidoji can be samurai)

you could take both the half celectial and the half fiend template.

The unseely fey template might be a good choise to (if you're able to get youre DM to allow you to chose the ability's instead of rolling) winters chill is so cool. (and it makes clear that you're not realy a human)

Someone made a Sephiroth character already. Its pretty good to. Take a look. Its on d20 Fantasy ThinkTank.

Prolly nothing you could do in a regular campaign but...maybe you could work up to it. This guy is Epic after all.

Essentially the WHAM is the sound the +1 Shovel of Idiot Slaying makes upon impact with the back of someones skull, most likely for being what Illithid Tentacles percieves as an Idiot. The dig, dig, dig noise is the sound of said shovel owner digging a grave with said handy shovel in order to stealthily dispose of the body, or optionally bury him alive.

It can also be used to indicate beating a dead horse, subsequently followed by an attempt to bury it for some unforseen period of time that is always greater than X, where X is equal to the current post.

sarcasm being the recourse of someone with nothing better to do than to passive-aggressively insult someone and in the process still manage to contribute nothing useful.
