03-07-06, 06:59 PM I am havin trouble making trouble for two characters I am making
they go together so their bio will be combined but I need to thinkof a reason why my hexblade catfolk is a servant to my sorcerer

If it helps the starting city has to be waterdeep and the drow is an innkeepr and the catfolk is a cook...well that is their ocupations :(

also I want to put the drow in a goodlight and amke the catfolk a bit morbid

also they are both male

I'm think of the gods cursing one of my slave character's ancestors into sertitude till the end of the drow's days for killing a cleric of such and such or something like that

03-07-06, 11:40 PM I was thinking, maybe the catperson killed an innocent spell caster a while ago, making him morbid as your description, and to repay the world, equal out his karma or whatever, he decided to offer himself as a slave to the sorcerer, I mean... its just a possibility

As for his servitude to the drow, maybe the drow helped him out at some point, he was asigned to the drow as punishment for his crimes... or heck, perhaps the drow actually raised the catfolk as a random experiment... give the catfolk a few house cat traits.

There are any number of ways that these two would be working together, but whats up with their occupations (tavern owner and cook)? How big a part do you want these to play in the background?
