| Farso06-07-07, 08:47 AM | Ok so i made this male human fightermage comming from Thesk in the forgotten realms setting. the basics about his background is that he has been a warrior i a merchant service for some time in thesk and after seeing and learning that the storms that plague thesk is becourse of the red wizards altering the weather over their nation, he has become a wizard in a attemt to harness those storms and bring them back to thay to haunt the red wizards. he'll be wielding some kinda of a sword and wearing leather armor of some kind. Now that all good but i really lack some help with the personality and maybe some more backgound. Anyone got some great ideas what this guy is like? i hope this is enough information for you to help me otherwise please say so, i am kinda new to the idea of really fleshing out ones char before you play him instead of while you play him. |

That's an interesting motivation, and it mirrors the personality I would give this guy. First off, he's extremely devoted. When he gets an idea, no matter how stupid or strange, he does all that is in his might to make it happen. He is also fond of justice. If someone does something wrong, let them find out why they shouldn't do it! Basically, he's got the "an eye for an eye" philosophy. That's all I could come up with right know, hope it helped! |

The Red Wizards of Thay, are the epitome of the intellectual detachment that comes with wizardy and represent all that he hates. His spell power would be born of the storm and of the rage he has against the Red Wizards for cursing his homeland with this plague of storms. This feeds into his CG alignment and his devil may care attitude. I could definitely see this guy with a couple of Heritage feats and an Electric based Breath Weapon. "Tell the bastard son's of Thay that a storm is coming and it's name is (Insert Character Name Here)" Your is just the kind of Psycho that ends up making the world a better place. Make them pay. As for background consider including a series of storms that cost him his home. No major trajic loss is needed just a "My father had a farm that did well but by the time I inherited it the nearby river flooded it so regularly that it was useless for farmland". |
