Kobold Paladin 02-24-04, 07:05 PM	I have a character consept but I am having a hard time coming up with a solid back ground for this character. My Glorious Character Consept We start at second Level so I took my frist level in expert so i could have addtional class skills. BTW in his camapign fighters dont get the craft and professon skill. This is what I chose: Use Magic Divice Knowledge : The Seas Knowledge : Folk Lore Craft Small Boats Craft Fishing (I know its not a craft but the DM siad do it as one) Craft Carpentery Professon Fisherman Animal Empithy Use Rope Tumble My feats are Power Attack (Creaton Feat), Skill focus (Craft Fishing, Human Bonus Feat), Point Blank Shot (Fighter Bonus Feat) My stats: Str 16 Dex 14 Con 12 Int 14 Wis 12 Cha 14 I rolled a bunch of averages but I didnt mind becuase my character consept needs it. Osaria (Oh-Sar-Ai-A) is a typical 14 year old human girl who lived on a tropical island all by her self, exept for her freind "Barky" the Dog. This island was only a short sail away in her boat from a large island with a big port on it. One day she and Barky sail to the there for supplies and this is what happens. Now I will tell you the story of how how she meets the other PCs i know its stupid but bare with me: 'Just sit right back and you'll hear a tale, a tale of a fateful trip, that started from a tropic port aboard a tiny ship. The mate was a mighty sailing Dog, The skipper brave and sure, with no passengers with them that day exept a stupid whoour, exept a stupid whoour(:censored::censored::censored::ce nsored::censored: so it rymes and it one of the other PCs). The weather started getting rough, the tiny ship was tossed, if not for the curage of the fearless Dog the Edward would be lost, the edward would be lost (edward is her ship). The ship set ground of the shore of a well charted city Ilse with Barky, Osaria too, a stupid :censored::censored::censored::censored: :censored: and........ thats about as far as i can make the song go due to the fact they will meet the other PCs after wandering into the city and going to a Tavern. So far other that than Osaria being a Fisher(wo)man and having a fisherman Dog named Barky and being all very strange since they hardly see other people I have nothing for them. Can you please help me? PS: I plan on taking leadership and level 6 and a sysnonime(sp) for the blocked word is harlet.

Morka 02-25-04, 10:37 AM	All the checks for "Use magic device" are very high, so if you take just one expert level, it shall be a waste. The background is not so bad. Just think who might be her parents, what they do (probably fishermen), if she has sisters/brothers... she might be the eldest of many children, that's why her parents sent her on the island. What is her alignment (if you play with this)? Is she helpful to her neighbors (good), does she respect the autorities (lawful)?
