Paladin2004 07-23-04, 08:13 AM	I was wondering if any of you people could give me advice with playing my druid and how to optimize him to make him powerful. So far he is level 2, are there any good spell combos he can use at that level, or tactics and situations when his spells are useful. and if there are any spell combos that will be veery useful in close future levels , eg 2 levels time. Whats the best animal companions i can use and is ther any way i can se spells and a sort of animal companion that would work real well together. Whats a good fun way to play a druid? Lol at the moment the plot for my character is that he has come in because a wizard in our party (ruovalf) has a great love of fireball and big area spells, and often ends up burning whole dungeons in the end, so far he has managed to completely destoy 1 iron mine and 1 tower which meant we lost loded of scrolls and stuff. But the reason i was called in for when he completely wrecked a large area of very old forest (when i was playing a theif) Some cobolds attack us , we have a breif fight and and some of them run of, he decides to be mercyless (as he often is) and guess where they are hiding and then chooses of all his spells fireball (in a forest) to try and find and kill them with a big area spell, we never new if he had killed them, but the forest now was burning, and the dm comments that the forrest is very old and he will of upset maybe a few forest dwelling and protecting creature, like trents or ents, so he decides to put the fire out to stop the trees burning with nothing else but Ice storm!! So he casts and gets a very high rolls so he's feeling quite good with him self , The ice storm just mages to put out the fire, also managed to completely destroy half the trees smashing through them. Dm comments that this was really stupid thing to do, now the wizard is real scared that ents are after him , lol land is super paranoid of forrests (mainly because of dm hehe) However now i have come in, to make sure the part and mainly the wizard don't do any more enviromental damage. The wizard keeps very close to me and tyhe cleric when going through forests as noticed lol, and does want me to keep him safe. However his character being as arrogent as he is continues to call me a dirt priest and tree hugger and things like that. Any ways I can play , use and devolp my druids plot and personallity would be good Do you know any good spell combos for lvl 2 druid (and maybe in future lvl 3, 4 ) Any good combos and good combo spells with certain animal companions. What are the best fears and animal companions Any ways I can play , use and devolp my druids plot and personallity would be good VERY IMPORTANT: - > OH and by the way, i don't think my DM is goingto let me use anything out of the other books, eg. new spells and stuff (we mainly use the vore rule books) However, i might be able to let him let me have new feats
