Aliatra HuntingHawk, Elven Druid, 112 years of age and fond of horses. Her animal compainion is a light horse whom she met long ago, and recently found once again. But I need some ideas for her past, where she grew up, what she is like. Her personality is fearless and quick, she dosent backdown and has little respect for men.Any ideas?

What world are you playing in? A created campaign setting or a homebrew one? As for a background, you have some personality traits already. Is your DM the type to play off your backgrounds? I always try to incorporate my player's character's goals somehow. There is countless things you can do. Revenge. Lost relative. Lost artifact. Falsely accused of crime, possibly with bounty on your head. Fed lies about a family member but given info that those claims may have been false and you want to clear their name. As far as being anti-men, she could have grown up in a society run by women where men are inferior but has since left that place and can't comprehend men being in charge in other places.

It sounds like the character is a tough cookie. You may want to add a level of Barbarian if they don't like to back down. Focus skills in Intimidate and Bluff.

Hope this helps.

Maybe she don't like men because during her youth all the boys hunted small annimals for sport? Also her father might have been a loser and a deadbeat.

Her animal compainion is a light horse whom she met long ago, and recently found once again.Long ago? So, how old is this horse now? Why did they split up? That could certainly provide some interesting ideas.

And what is her favourite weapon? Why? How did she learn how to use it? Who taught her? And, how old was she back then?

One way to generate a background, is to pick some aspects of what you already have, and ask questions about it. This in turn will lead to new ideas. Jot them down as you go, and you'll quickly build up a story. And, if you are stuck for an idea, don't force it, but just move onto the next thing.

Oh, and don't make everything outlandish. Make sure that most of it is plain and simple and straightforward. It'll be easier that way.

My first few questions to you are this.
1) who are her parents?
2) does she have any brothers and sisters?
3) how did she come to be a druid?
Before you try writing the background story for the character try answering these questions first.
It will help you to figure out where to go from there.
I've had to write several background stories for my characters, all of which are close to 1400 years old.
I hope this helps :) .
