| StormySBD06-26-07, 03:25 PM | Hi I am making a Dwarf Cleric and would like to have a "Flaw" on this char. I am playing in the FR and he will be lvl 3. I can not seem to come up with a good flaw the will fit into his class but not hinder him to much were he can not be played to good (keep running away or getting party member killed). Can you all help me come up with a good flaw. All ideas welcome. Thx StormySBD |

Hates a certain race (not normally hated by dwarves) Hates all other gods (perhaps non-dwarven gods or the gods of a specific race) I dont know if these are what your looking for, since these are role playing flaws only. If your looking for flaws with game effects, you could add your own homebrew penalties to these. Perhaps negs to diplomacy around a race you hate, or just a bigger neg to diplomacy if you swear alot. Or if you hate certain gods, perhaps their clerics find themselves unable to heal you. I dunno. Peace |

Secondly, a flaw that lowers one of your quality that is already abysmal; at 19th level, it wouldn't change to much things to have a Reflex save of +2 vs +5. While Clerics have high wisdom, they don't have too many skill points, so it's not their role to be the scout of the group. Perhaps could you be Inattentive (http://www.systemreferencedocuments.org/35/sovelior_sage/unearthedFlaws.html#Inattentive)(-4 Spot & Listen)? Also, with their usually low DEX, clerics are generally last in Initiative, which is not bad since they can heal those who suffered damages earlier in the INIT count. So you could be Unreactive (http://www.systemreferencedocuments.org/35/sovelior_sage/unearthedFlaws.html#Unreactive), taking -6 on INIT rolls. |
