His stats (Rolled 4d6 in order with one stat swap, per house rules): STR 15 DEX 16 CON 16 INT 16 WIS 12 CHA 14 As you can see, he's pretty well rounded. He's smart, fast and tough, reasonably strong and fairly persuasive, but just reckless enough to get into trouble. I'm planning to go the "Rogue" route with him, maybe multiclassing (Fighter?), but maybe not. I thought about Ranger, but the Wisdom is suboptimal for that (and our party needs a Rogue). The rest of the party is an a dwarven Fighter, a human Paladin, a human Bard, and an elven Sorceress (the last two use the Complete Book of Eldritch Might class variants). The campaign world is sort of rare magic & reminiscent of legendary Arthurian Britain, with knights, castles and the whole bit. So the traditional "swashbuckler"-type with rapier seems a bit anachronistic. Any thoughts or suggestions? |

THats ones of my favorite concepts to use, can fight well, gets to do all the fun rogue skills like traps and locks, plus hide and sneak...plus you can be a good guy, or you can be a bit of a prick...you can have your own agenda or be out for the good of the group as long as you are bringing "evildoers" to justice. plus it can make for interesting party dynamics if anyone in your party ever gets on the wrong side of the law... |
