So it's still classic. What you need would be a reason to quit your familly and go adventuring. Perhaps someone you loved die and since you are emotively instable, you need to travel to forget that person. Perhaps some kobolds attacked and burned your house, and you want vengence. Perhaps your mentor is looking for some specific elements for an obscure spell. Anyway, be prepared to tell neverending stories about anything. You should be good to improvise long stories, and to include many parenthesis to explain pointless details!
