Character Idea-

Kaledram Stoutheart
Badland(desert) Dwarf
Cleric of Retribution(cant remember god's name, homebrew)

Character Concept-
My idea for a character, is a badlands dwarf(since we are playing in a desert campaign, it could come in handy) that is a cleric of the god of retribution(once again, cant remember the name).
**************************************** *****************
Kaledram grew up as the oldest of three children, who he practically raised seeing as his mother died giving birth to the youngest if the three. His middle brother, Jur, helped Kaledram occasionally with his younger brother, Koeh, and their father, a general in the military, had no time for his children.

Kaledram chose to seek help from the temple of <retribution god>, and so one of the priests helped Kaledram with his little brothers. Durring his time off, Kaledram began his apprentanceship(sp?) to a senior priest, named Kaladim. Kaladim was a wise dwarf, who, though lived through many hardships, was kind and gentle. Kaledram was tought to fight with the quarterstaff, dagger, and spiked guantlet, as well as quite a few other weapons, including the spear, sickle, crossbow, mace, and morningstar, though he favored the spiked guantlet the most.

Durring his training as a cleric, Kaledram began to worry about his youngest brother, Koeh, who became very ill. Around that time, Kaledram's father died in a skirmish with a small nomadic group of mendalin (race of desert human's from homebrew campaign). Fearing that his brother might die, Kaledram halted his training as a cleric to tend for his brother, using the minor divine healing that he learned durring his apprentanceship(sp?).

His uses were futile, and his younger brother died in his weakened state due to heatstroke, a rare thing among badland dwarves. Durring this time, Jur, the middle child, chose to follow in his father's footsteps, and join the ranks of the military, and that he did, falling into an ambush by the same tribe of mendalin, and presumably dead.

With no family left to him, Kaledram become cold inside, losing everyone, and everything that he lost. He trained as a cleric of <insert god of retribution here>. He trained vigorously, learning to move about the battlefield, healing those who needed it, and joining in on the melee combat when needed. Kaledram learned the power of his healing, and the retributive power of his inflict spells.

He moved through the battlefield with the strength and dexterity of a warrior, and knew the wisdom of a divine priest. Through his training in combat, and his dedication to the divine, he has become a true champion for his people.

This is my concept for the character, i want him to be a heroe for his people... His nickname is probably gonna be "Scar" because of the x shaped scar he has on his nose(between his eyes, though it isnt small). He has mid-length, silver-white hair put into a pony-tail, and a long, silver-white beared.

He wears loose clothing, with scale armor underneath, and wears a single spiked guantlet, a quarterstaff on his back, a dagger on his belt, and a light crossbow on his side. I want him to become a warpriest, which should be pretty easy to get into.

He has gold-yellow eyes, and tanned skin. He wears sun lenses whenever necessary, as well as a dust mask. He carries as little as possible

I plan on playing him lawful neutral(works with retribution), and a kind of harsh person, who has obviously been hurt in the past(the loss of his loved ones).

If yall see any gaps, please let me know, my DM likes a thorough background, and we will be playing from level 1... maybe level 2.

Thanks :D :D
