| Brotter_Lutgehr06-13-07, 10:02 PM | So yesterday my DM comes to me and tells me that he would like me to write a character background because my character is A sainted wizard 8/apostle of peace3 of the EG alignment. The reason that he wants me to write a background is because he'd like to have my character established as a predominate NPC of his world. I have several points that I have desided on but I have no writing skills at all and every time I try to write his background it comes out really dull and borring. Please help! -Family was poor -Trained by an old half orc wizard named Keth Durksig -Helps anyone in need if within his personal power -Sacrifised his time and energy to build The House of Selflessness (Gives free meals and board to poor or homeless individuals) |

A Saint's story is always more interesting when there's suddenly a break, and the Saint suddenly decides to give his life for the poor people he didn't care for not long before. For example, Saint Francis of Assisi (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Francis_of_Assisi), Siddhārtha Gautama (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gautama) (who became Buddha) and Saint Paul the Apostle.
