Help with Dwarf character [Archive] - Wizards Community

02-09-05, 10:07 PM Ok my group has been playing for a year now, I'm usualy the DM, but every so often in a month I might convince another player to DM, well he never asked for a PC background or even said anything about one, untill he told me he might start making campaigns based around the PC's background, so I took this time to make a level 1 dwarven fighter, using the 25-point buy system, this is the first dwarf I've ever created and wanted to name him something thats not in the PH and came up with Ssesvek and made a background, well I wanted to know what your guys thought of him before I wrote anything down.

Thanks for your opinions, if you see something that isn't normal for dwarfs then please point it out.

P.S. this is the first dwarf I've made so don't get down on me to badly.

02-14-05, 05:04 PM Hmm, I think that it looks just fine to me. Backgrounds really boil down to how much detail you put into it, and you've provided plenty. Other than amount of fleshing out details, its hard to go wrong with a background story.

How about Bardak Blackfist, have him come from Gauntlegrym, which is a Lost Dwarven empire(not to mention that it holds riches and magic Dwarven items beyond your wildest dreams), looking for more Dwarves to rebuild and bring it back to its former glory. Just a thought anyway. ;)
