Ok i have this relativelly new Char (LE lvl 2 monk) . and i need to give him some flavor. (BTW dont mind the names were playing in a homebrew setting)

First his backstory: Pivo (he got a longer name but anyways) was the son of a priest of hextor in tristania, when he was young he was teached him martial arts. pivo was very interested in learning how to transform his own body in his only weapon. But pivo's father was beating him when he was young and his mother was ignoring everything, feinting everything was going right at home.At Some point during his adolescence pivo decided to flee his family and took up a nomad lifestyle and wandered around for about ten years, after he crossed the sea and went to ismaild in hope of rising to power (ismaild is formed by many city states) . Shortly after arriving to ismaild , Pivo was engaged by Lekna'at (a lvl 10 priest of hextor who proclaimed himself king of Norgard after killing the former king) for an unknown mission. Lekna'at formed a small group (campaign begins, thats our party) who would go to Nosfretos and force the barbarians tribes to join the forces of Lekna'at.

His personnality: Pivo is usually keeping to himself (thanks to his father) and his ultimate goal is only aquiring more power (read : become a high level monk) . He is very focused on his goal, money or women can distract him from it, he once had "adventures" with a priest of hextor in norgard but he would never consider committing himself to a woman. the same goes for money , he doesn't really care about money and usually take the smaller share of the loot. He has a strong sense of honor and would rather die in honor than to live in dishonnor. He is true to his word unless it's more profitable for him to betray some one who trusted him.

now i need more inspiration, to give him more depth...

What is his full name? Bernard Pivo? Ever think to play a fat monk? :D Seriously, that could be a good flavor: even if he's fat, he knows exactly how to strike someone, or how to move faster.

It's a bit overkilling that both your father and your employer are priests of Hextor. His father could have been a monk too, follower of Hextor. Or even an NPC (expert and aristocrat would fit well).

Also, your character traveled 10 years, and is only level 2? I think you could cut by half his traveling time, and he will still have been more looking landscape than meeting thugs.

One last thing: how did he meet Lekna'at? Visiting a temple? In a tavern? Local thieves guild? You could elaborate this a bit.

His full name is Monseigneur Pivo aux poings d'acier (we game in french)

i think the presence of the church of hextor in Pivo's life could bring fun Rping issues. Anyways i think him being level one (we began lvl1,) after traveling 10 years is ok anyways , he's strong enough now , any hit from him can kill a regular humanoid(1d6+4 damage in game terms).
He was enlisted by lekna'at shortly after arriving to ismaild, seeing lekna'at was a king rising in power, pivo seized the opportunity to find his way to power (he already planned to dispose of lekna'at as soon as he is powerful enough) ...
he was also interested in this mysterious lekna'at (who didn't go out of his throne room for 10 years)
