| Roscoe_Greenbottle10-05-06, 11:08 PM | Sorry, I posted this in the wrong forum to begin with, didn't see this one:eek: Here is my story: As a young Halfling lad my father, who had been exiled from the house Jurascoe for being almost continuously drunk, and I lived together in Gatherhold. At one of the gatherings of all the tribes, my father got drunk and forgot about me. I wasn’t paying attention and wandered off, following one of the tribes that was leaving. I followed them out of Gatherhold and into the plains, so far that I had no idea how to get back, so I just kept following them. Eventually, someone started talking to me and asked me my name. Ashamed of not being an official member of House Jurascoe, I told them my name was Greenbottle. After that I just laid low, watching and learning from the members of the tribe, until I was just accepted as one of them, even though no one knew where I was from. One day I awoke to find a man trying to steal my clawfoot mount, Thoron the Wise, so I killed him. That’s when I go t my first taste of murder. It was thrilling! I wanted more! Ever since then I’ve thought nothing of killing someone. It was my secret addiction. At another intertribal gathering I got drunk the night we were supposed to leave, I got drunk and was left behind. Later that night I passed out in a drunken comma, and when I woke up I was in Karrnath! I joined a thieving guild as a pick pocket, and aspired to rise to the top, and eventually join an assassin’s guild. One fateful day I was following two adventurers with the hopes of robbing them blind that night. They went into a bar, and so I followed and sat down with the hopes of finding out more about them. As soon as our introductions were over, a strange little Gnome hopped up onto our table! My character is a Halfling rouge, and I do have a clawfoot mount name Thoron the Wise. The gnome thing is where our campaign started, he gave us our first mission. So what do you think? |

Plot devices are fun and all, but background stories in my opinion should try to promote continuity. Otherwise and over that, sounds like a fun character to play with. -Soly |
| Roscoe_Greenbottle10-07-06, 12:37 AM | Also, my goals for th future are to join an Assassins guild, which I can do at the next level. As soon as I'm in, I'm going straight to the top, any way I need to to get there. Maybe eve unanomosly give my party a mission to assassinate the leader of the guild, and use the opprotunity to take control. I've talked to my DM about it and he thinks it would be cool to have that happen, but just between him and me untill the war starts. Back to the evil plot, which will be getting pretty evil in a moment. Once I'm head of the guild, I'm planning on releasing the fiends/demons to join the army I'll recruite from the members of my guild. Usin this army, I'll coquer Aereni:elf: and use it as my base of opperations. From there I'll invade Khorivar and enslave all who oppose me. The army I will have amassed plus hopefully the giants and/or the quiri will be large enough to try and enslave the dragons. With the dragons out of my way, the rest of the world who is not already under my banner (A white dagger with a single drop of blood at the tip, on a black background) will be easy pickings. Maybe the planes will follow next, who knows? |
