Help with name (Chinese speakers come here) [Archive] - Wizards Community

10-04-04, 10:12 PM I need a Chinese name for an Overt Feline moreau in a d20 modern game...something that translates to 'king of tigers' or something equally combative and appropriate, since he was an expiriment by the Chinese military. Can anyone here do this for me?

Wang Hu is literally King Tiger. Hei Pao is Black Panther. Are you str/ dex based? You could be Lei Wang Hu - literally, the Lightning Tiger Monarch lol...

10-05-04, 10:59 PM I would support Lei Wang Hu - it has a nice ring to it. If you wanted to be classy, you could also take a professional name from one of the many tiger-named characters in Outlaws of the Marsh - I'm partial to The Gorge-Leaping Tiger, The Tiger-Fighting General, and Stumpy Tiger.
