Alright heres the beef: I'm gonna be playing a half-fiend half-human character soon and I've got some rough ideas but I need some help. Also his real name is Qaetar'Qaliin (Qae), but he refers to himself as something else, I could use some help deciding what that is as well. Alright here my basic ideas: He's the son of some uber powerful infernal or something, one of seven, each son is part of a profecy that no matter what they cannot escape (not that most would want to). Qae is the seventh son, the final and most important member of the demonic prophecy. His fragment of the prophecy is referred to as Red Destiny: The annihalation of all the 'inferior' races (essentially anything that's not a demon). However, he did not embrace as the other sons had. He found the hells to be ill-suited to his needs - perhaps it was the human side of him. So he left the hells and wandered Kiniriel (homebrew setting). After wandering the surface for a while he found that the alleged "inferior" races were not so bad. He eventually met a girl (another PC, name as of yet undecided probably either going to be a noble of some sort or a bard) they were close friends and eventually he ended up becoming her body gaurd. He quickly completely turned away from the prophecy. Note: This is all before the game starts. I'm thinking that when he was a resident of the hells his alignment would have been Chaotic Neutral but when he came to Kiniriel it would have gradually shifted to Chaotic Good. Plot hooks so far: -What the hell are the demons doing about this? Their prolly pretty ****** that he's not actively pursueing the prophecy, even if it is inevitable. -Who was Qaetar'Qaeliins mother? -What makes Qae so different from other demons? -Who were Qaes brothers and what was did their fragments of the prophecy consist of? What are they doing now? Have they completed their part of the prophecy? Just For Fun: His father had a Mercurial Greatsword crafted for him to help him fulfill Red Destiny. On the pommel/hilt of this sword, was written Qaes fragment of the prophecy, the name of the sword (Souldrinker is a working name so far - I'm hoping the DM will let me start out with a Vampiric weapon as we'll be starting at a fairly high level), and Qaes true name (Qaetar'Qaliin, which he will NEVER utter in his life and probably wont even tell his companions). After he turned away from his destiny, he inscribed -DEFENDER- into the blood grove of the sword. Mechanics: He'll be a Fighter/Weapon Master specializing with mercurial greatswords. To recap, I need a name for him to refer to himself as, and preferably some plot or character developement ideas. Thanks in advance for the help.
