Me and some long time friends are starting a campaign that is Forgotten Realms based. We'll be starting in the forsaken lands. Rules evil align. ECL 25. (yes epic) and its a war campaign, we are ben on reshaping Faerun into a darker version of itself. We will also go on adventures to uncover more arcana and greater power to use for our own personal gain and to defeat uber characters such as larloch/ elminster types. We call ourselves the Black Circle (and we have a cool rune drawn out) Our group consists of so far 1. Male Orog Fighter 1/ Barbarian 5/ Warlord 5/ War Master 12. He has an extremely high ability score and yes we did some house rules to allow a chaotic evil warmaster. He has around some 5k odd followers and an 21st level cohort. He also has several power items such as a rod of fortification and rod of lordly might, and he is looking to find some dire elephants as mounts to carry or archers on platforms into combat. 2. Male Firegiant Blackguard 6. He is the smasher of the group and just lays waste to things on the battle field. (we use the quentesential fighter for mass combat) He also has epic leadership with the might makes right feat in turn = uber followers. 3. Male human Cleric 15/ Horned Harbringer 10. This guy is utlitmate undead guy and has some 250 HD worth of varying skeletons under his control as well as some 350 HD worth of varying undead from ghouls to devourers. He aslo sports a rod that slays living on touch. 4. Me and my question, i need help developing a truly detailed Wizard member of the cult of the dragon, but not using the pansy wearer of purple prestige class, basically 25lvl wizard. But i need help with background and future goals as well as how about to go about them. My main idea right now is, he is using this group whom he met through the harbriger who he has used in the pass for undead aid to the cult (he is a senior member afterall) and sees the group to elevate his status. He isn't one of the crazy members just one that wants to use it to elevate his own position. He has scried out the island of Saerloon and knows that a weapon of some repute is their that is known to slay gods and has plans on how to obtain it. He will develop a war strategy to destroy the Zhentarim base at raven's bluff as well as 3 smaller cities that contribute to zhentil keep below the mountain range, just to boost their gains from the coffers of the zhentarim. He has plans on somehow gaining enough power (later after many conquest on the map and probally 10 level gains and many more items i ahve in mind of attaining) to elevate himself as a god over the cult of the dragon, one single deity for them to worship until the time of sammaster's dragon ruled age. the black circle also plans on taking over the moonsea area the moving below anrauch to the lands of cormyr and reaking havoc before moving to the heartlands and up to the silver marches leaving the dales and waterdeep alone for now, due to powerful wizards who live in the afore mentioned. Please give ne ideas you have for my group or my 25 wizard Wearer of Purple
