hey all, I need ideas on how to roleplay my Gnome wizard 8/ fighter 1/ spellsword 5 in our Forgotten Realms campain.

He started out as a illusionist and reached lvl 6 when he was entered in a boxing tournement as a joke by the party, crazy luck and some amazing battles later and he won the bronze metal. Now he's intersted in a combonation of swordplay and spell casting so he took a lvl of fighter and then went into spellsword. Now comes the tricky part he just turned 100 and has age penaltys. He also has a family with a pixie (7 girls/ 4 boys, they're not around right now due to the upcoming war so no worrys about family concerns)

he has a 16 wis, 20 int and a 11 cha and i'm wondering how he should be played, normaly i've played him as kind of absent minded often looking at the large delema before noticing the smaller but much more important problem at hand (once he teleported off to his home in Lantan to purchase a new firearm, before remembering that he didn't have the money to purchase said firearm). He has permanet presdidgitation cast on him so he regularly changes things for fun (water to coffee, brown pants to green pants) so he's got a sense of humor.

Just throw out any ideas you have for me thanks :coolcthul

He seems like your basic lighthearted spellcaster to me. I wouldn't say pranks per se, though he might do some of that; but joking around would be quite a fun thing for him.

With a Wisdom of 16, why would he be absent-minded? 16 is very perceptive... a 20 Int also means he can do quite a lot with his perceptions. However, he won't really be a bookish sort, not after the boxing competition thing. He strikes me as a fellow who will do something just for the experience (though he won't do stupid or unwise things). Perhaps he deliberately does crazy things (like the teleport "oops") just to make people laugh?

With an average Charisma, he won't really stand out in a crowd; but he'll make a decent companion and be good backup in a battle--though he may be a little unconventional in his methods, choosing flashy or interesting spells (which, nevertheless, do the trick--he is neither stupid or unwise) over straight-out damage.

Of course, these are my ideas; you have an established character here, and if things don't fit into his personality, feel free to ignore them.
