| Elias Tyleil09-03-05, 01:32 PM | Hey Guys, Right now I'm in Iraq and my DM took his books back home with him when he went on leave. Anyway, I need some help......I'm makin this cleric, and I want his weapon to be a maul....I need to know what GOOD Deity favors the maul, and a description of the deity and it's domain. Also, if you could give me the names of some towns that has temples dedicated to said deity that would be great as well. If any of you wanna IM me and talk D&D or just chat or whatever....My door is always open. Keep gaming, Kilgore :D |

(You can still be good though) Animal, plant, protection, renewal, water are his domains, while his portfolio is wild nature and druids. Basically this guy is the god of nautre in Faerun (which is where i assume your character is). Silvanus actually has a prestiege class for his followers called the Forest Master, and he pretty much becomes a walking tree of death. Dumathoin from the dwarven patheon uses one aswell, yet again he is neutral though. Cavern, craft, dwarf, earth, knowledge, metal, protection are his domains and his portfolio is as follows buried wealth, ore, gems, mining, exploration, shield dwarves, guardian of the dead. So thats the two faerun deities that use mauls. Later |

It doesnt name any towns in paticular but it does say that the faith prefers to be around small communities over large cities. Followers of Silvanus are mainly concerned with keeping the balance, and due to their neutral nature, they are willing to do some rather dubious things to keep it. They are most concerned with the forest though, and try and peacefully keep civilisation at bay, if that fails their not against placing dangerous animals in the region to scare off woodsmen etc. The druids are the main part of the faith, with clerics and rangers on the outskirts. Clerics often wear scale mail armor with the scales looking like leaves (druids do the same, but the scales are leather) So thats prety much it. Later |
