If anyone could come up with suggestions, I'd be extremely thankful! Well, upon looking at the FAQ, It'll be in the aftermath of a dimensional rift war that noone remembers, I was thinking something like an elusive druid, possibly on the run or somesuch cliche'd, but really thinking about it, I could probably do- A basic Druid except, attempting to keep "The Balance" by executing/bringing down the forces of divine punishment upon those who break the balance in either way, but I'm really not sure. Sorry I'm not able to add more. |

Your ninja, since he is of druidic bent, might draw his powers from nature and delight in chameleon's talent for disguise. I do not know his alignment but since it can't be evil, it can fit. No wait you said True Neutral. That's fine. Powers of stealth are just as normal aspect of druidic training as any other and he might not need to ever have been an assassin of any kind. On the other hand, he could have been a ninja or an assassin whose life brought him into conflict with his previous loyalties and a (re)discovery of the ways of nature changed his ways. (This depends on what level you're starting at, might be a bit clumsy at 1 but as soon as 2 you're fine). I was wondering how to RP this monster. <.< Now don't take me wrong but monster? How? You shouldn't look at it like "OMG I dipped 5 classes I'm not a roleplayer". You have those classes because you are roleplaying and are building your image of a stealthy follower of nature and someone who delights in adaptiveness of nature and stealth of the forest predators. There is no need to be upset over it and it's only up to you if it's a monster or not. Have faith :) Picking an animal totem might be a cliche but it really can be very helpful for your initial "getting the sense of character". I'd heartily recommend to think about it at least. Your view of balance is not very linked to the classes but Daggerspell Shaper leaves you with some hints on that. It says something like "believes that good and evil are separate and can be separated with a clean cut like anything else". It might hint at vengefulness but also at the relativitistic approach. Perhaps you delight in shadows because shadows are the children of light and together it is an expression of balance. This viewpoint might also be a good fit for an elf but is just as good with any other race. I have a sense that you suspect that your "stealthy" choices hint at killing and retribution. It can go either way. Avoiding confrontation or subtly driving away those who defile nature is just as valid viewpoint and a rewarding method of solving problems (to this end, the second ninja level might be a better choice than one (select) prestige class level, to fuel your rapid escape abilities). Well anyways I hope this was of some help to you. Some of it might change depending on what level you are starting but I hope you got some inspiration out of this. May the Force be with you :p |
