First dates are very important in the quest to lay a samurai. You must take her/him to dinner, act very honorable, open doors for him/her, respect her family, and make sure your conversation deals with ideals that she/he holds true and just.

Second, after many years of lawful courtship, ask her/his parents for the rights of marriage. After you get permission, make sure you have a honorable ceremony and propose to your samurai heart throbe.

If she/he accepts, on the honeymoon after the wedding dowery is exchanged and settled, you may honorably lay the samuari. Prepare to see why the Orient is called the "Land of the Rising Sun."

Very, very carefully.

(They never let go of their wakazashi, you know)

EDIT: Changed "katana" to "wakazashi" because obviously this oversight offended a great many (two) people, and I would hate to be cut in half by a samurai because I dishonored him by calling his sword the wrong thing :D

Actually, it is the Wakizashi which is the Samurai's "Companion Sword" and they never let out of their sight.
