Human Archer Background help needed [Archive] - Wizards Community

11-10-03, 07:00 PM We are playing in the FRCS, 3.5 rules. I will be a human archer, I was going to be a Wood Elf but changed my mind. I would like to be from Icewind Dale, but don't know a lot about the area. I was going to see if someone could help with a background from that area.

11-10-03, 10:57 PM I would say read something about Icewind Dale and try coming up with a background on you own.

But anyway, say your guy was in the army for a while and that`s where he learned to be a fighter. He saw a lot of death while in the military and it got to him. So after his service was up he went out to the woods and became a ranger so he could protect things and help them to live rather than just kill and destroy. He uses a bow because it`s a "natural" weapon and won`t use a sword unless it`s to save a life and he has no other choice.
