| Fithero07-03-07, 09:10 AM | Just rolled up some stats, i think they're good enough to do a multi-class character. Ill lay them out as follows. Str:17 Dex:16 Con:17 Int:13 Wis:15 Cha:17 Ill make him a barbarian and sorcerer until he can get into the Rage Mage and Spellsword Prc's. Im wanting this character to be primative and tribalistic, he will have the Trophy Collector (PHBII) and Primative Caster (RoF) feats for flavor. Alignment wise im going to go towards chaotic neutral, i always play good characters. I need a change :P I need help with fleshing out his background though. Ive got a few aspects down already- -refuses to use anything made of metal, the leader of his tribe was a druid and forbid it. -booze scares him, doesnt like how he acts when he gets drunk -collects trophies from anyone/thing he kills -tries to be totally self sufficient, hunts for food, makes own weapons, clothing and armor He will refuse to adapt to civilised culture or adopt any of their ways, claiming his ways are better, more natural. For instance- -When in a tavern, will eat with his hands while sitting on the floor infront of the fire -refuse to wear footware -doesnt go out of his way to bathe, if he passes a river or lake, sure, he's got no problem with it -barters for needed items instead of using coins, will often take his share of treasure in the form of items and let others take the coins (he will always want his fair share though) Thing is, what sort of motivations would this character have? Why would he leave his tribe and begin adventuring? Throw some ideas at me people, im drawing a blank :( peace |

Many young barbarians are going out to try and bring in something similar. You are one of them 4] Call of the ancestors - His spellcasting is received from X [dragon, ancestors etc].He wants to seek them out someplace and learn more/pay homage etc |

I think i will restrict him to only the druids weapon and armor list. This will be a point of pride for him, he doesnt think its a hinderance. Others who rely on steel weapons and armor are weak. 3) Another good idea. The rules say you can only benifit from a certain amount of items, but ill have him wear a number of non-benifical items too, just for flavor. 4) If i were to use dragon, I wouldnt want it to be a cromatic or metallic dragon, id want it to be a unique one :P Any ideas? cheers for your help. |

Maybe you could give him a totem/clan name to reflect the Gem Dragon influence. Here's the Wiki article on them: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gem_dragons_%28Dungeons_%26_Dragons%29 |
