Hey, I am working on a character concept and was looking for some help to flesh out his background. I was looking at a human Illusionist from Halruaa or possibly the Isle of Nimbral. He would be either NN or CN, and a follower of Leira. He will also vehemently argue anyone telling him that his goddess is dead, almost to the point of being a fanatic. I was stuck on a name, and also stuck on a reason why he would leave the magic-comfortable areas to adventure, and what would be his motivation to work with others in a group. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Thanks!

To find some evidence to prove that his goddess isn't dead and thus shut the non-believer's mouths forever.Or to find a potent illusion that can be used to make a believable giant image of leira appearing and telling that she isn't dead and all who say so shall feel her fury in the middle of town/city

He'd work with others because deep within he's fearing that he may lose touch with reality [illusions, arguments that a dead goddess is alive etc].So he wants to interact a lot with real people and have them around.Maybe he fears being alone
