heinzk23111 05-17-04, 04:02 PM	Good choice I am wrangling over a similar concept myself. Here are some ideas: Make the character have some slightly Dragon traits. I'm thinking that you hoard all of your belongings. Have a very hard time parting with cash, treasure of any type (even that you cannot use), and have an obsession with Dragons (spend knowledge ranks on dragons). This will lead you to the conclusion your magical (sorcerous) abilities are the result of having dragon blood in your veins. Grab some skills in intimidate as well. Work on an strange appearance (white eyes--like the white contacts worn by the twins in Matrix2). Perhaps the white eyes are the first sign of the changing to Dragon Desciple. You growl when you are angry and sharpen your fingernails to talons. You will get tatoos of Dragons. This has all started because you have been having dreams that you are flying where strangely enough you look at yourself and you have scaled wings! Ohh maybe you could have your character spit fire by using alcohol and a torch! That would be just for fun but usefull in strange barroom brawls!
Twilly 05-20-04, 09:57 AM	You can alter the visual effects of some of your spells. You could make cone-shaped spells look like breathweapons. Or you could spit out fire-balls for example.
Morka 05-20-04, 09:39 PM	I used to play a would-be dragon disciple, but never reach that level. To light a torch, he was holding the flint in his mouth, and was rubbed the stone on it, so the fire seemed to come from his mouth. Do you already know what color of dragon you will be? Begin to dress like the dragon you have the blood in your veins, i.e. wear silver clothes if you are a silver dragon. You should also try to learn more about your familly, and which ancestor could have bring some dragon blood in your veins. And then perhaps try to find the dragon who is your ancestor!
Aluroon 05-22-04, 06:33 PM	Hum, interesting idea. I am toying with the idea of a bard who will take levels in dragon disiple, then half-dragon paragon...not sure about it though. Personally I think your idea is great, don't anyone tell you to change it because you will be weak. Let them say that to you at level 20 when your a monster that can throw 12 fireballs in a row, have a breath weapon, and have the following abillity scores str 19 dex 15 con 19 int 16 wis 11 cha 20 With 5 stat points whereever you want. I can do little else onther then agree everyone elses points. Aluroon
