I'm just drawing a blank for the RP. I know what I want to do with the crunch (focused conjurer heavy on battlefield control), but I'm just drawing a blank for the RP. I'm in need of inspiration.

Here (http://www.myth-weavers.com/showthread.php?t=28988) is the game. I'm in need of inspiration though to fit the numbers. Anyone got any cool RP ideas? I'm probably looking for things like links to wikipedia write ups of unique characters for inspiration. I don't think I've ever drawn a blank like this before.'

Edit: DM suggested that the PC be a mercenary that traveled to reach where the party is. I may not need much inspiration after all.

If you have no cluse whatsoever, then just go with what the DM said - you play a character that's just in the job for money. He's a professional adventurer, not a person with a goal of world domination or saving his homeland or impressing a lass back home. Just there for gold.

I think I'll be doing that. I've been letting my mind wander and think for the past couple of hours. I posted this before the DM gave me the suggestion.

Could be he got into the mercenery trade in the first place to pay off some bills (Wizard College loans, "offerings" to the Church for his parents' medical treatment, back taxes, whatever...) and just kept at it because of how good the money was.

Mmm. That's good. I'll be weaving that in when I feel well enough to write up the character.
