| satyre02-23-07, 04:12 PM | Ok, so I'm preparing for a game and I need some help finishing up my Ten Memories. I could also use some advice on how to fluff up my character some. I try not to write out a personality section as it's hard to live up to... though I usually keep some notes just for personal use. Any advice you guys could give me would be awesome. The basic idea is a Rogue that focuses on knowledge. Eventually I'll multiclass into some sort of spellcaster.... or bookworm type class. Thanks. --- Lughaidh Grenfeld CG Rogue 3 Eberron Appearance-Lean Human male of average height, Lughaidh has dark hair and eyes. His skin is a lighter tan. He wears clothing typical of a lower-middle class citizen of Sharn. Lughaidh has had some luck with his non-academic activities and can afford slightly better things. His clean-shaved face has an indifferent expression, and you get the impression he would rather studying than making idle talk. "Eight" Memories... Cyre- Lughaidh's birthplace. He's blocked out a lot of his memories from the Last War and the Day of Mourning. Deciding it easier/better to forget than to dwell on a dismal past. Parents- Taegan & Alana Grenfeld, originally from Cyre, they've founded a farm in the town of New Cyre. Both are fairly simple and fiercely nationalistic. Their hope is that Lughaidh will continue running the Grenfeld Farm and add to the prosperity of Cyran Nation. Grenfeld Farm- Family farm where Lughaigh grew up. It was their dream that he would take over the farm and continue the tradition. Sharn- Lughaigh moved to Sharn in hope of attending Morgrave University. Things didn't go as he planned and he ended up living on the streets, making a living as a common thief. Hayder the Red- Leader of a small group of criminals in Sharn. Took Lughaidh under his wing soon after he arrived to the city. Morgrave University- In Lughaidh's eyes this is a very prestigious school. He had always wanted to attend, much to the dismay of his parents. As soon as he arrived at Sharn, Lugh applied at the school. He was quickly denied... though he was definitely bright enough to keep pace with the other students, his coin purse was lacking. Coming from a farming community, it hadn't occurred to Lughaidh that schooling would cost so much. Kallias Duskseer- A professor at Morgrave University. He sponsored Lughaidh during his second attempt to gain admittance to Morgrave University. In return, Kallias asks him to "fetch" items for the school. The Scroll of Aureon- The first task that was given to Lughaidh by Kallias. The scroll was said to contain a history of Aureon's dealings with the world. Tried as he might, Lugh never was able to decipher the scroll... and never saw it again after he handed it to Professor Darkseer. |

Or, if your DM lets you, switch the casting for Sneak Attack until you learn magic, then erase the SA and go on as if you had been a normal Beguiler from Level 1 onwards. |
| satyre02-24-07, 06:10 PM | Yeah, I'm not even positive about the spellcasting. Maybe he'll just be good at using magical items. I don't own PBII. I'm working on my collection slowly. So far just have PBI, DMG, and the Eberron Campaign setting. Books are expensive, and I've got too many hobbies. :D Really, he's more about Knowledge than anything... Maybe I should take the "Education" feat? |
