I'd say off the top of my head, a Rogue with Dex 17 and Int 15 would be quite fun to play. Lots of skills and a good dex coupled with weapon finesse and improved feint will be dangerous a few levels on... |

(after age effect 53-70 years old) str-9 dex-10 con-12 int-18 wis-16 Chr-13 Nothing there hurts you and you can really play up the old man thing. that said there is a lot you can do with a rogue also. |
| SpartanLeonidas02-06-07, 09:06 AM | Stick with what you enjoy IMO... A human fighter named... Jones!! Here's the site: http://srd.dndonlinegames.com/home.html STR - 17 or 15 DEX - 14 CON - 15 or 17 INT - 12 WIS - 11 CHA - 11 |
| Odinfurysword02-06-07, 09:15 AM | I know what I am going to run...A human fighter...Hmm..But what weapon should I use?...Or maybe a half-orc?...Barbarian...But I feel that is overused..Every single half-orc Ihave ever seen was an babrbarian... Str-17 Dex-14 Con-15 Int-11 Wis-12 Chr-11 |
| SpartanLeonidas02-06-07, 09:28 AM | How about a half-orc bard |
| Odinfurysword02-06-07, 09:32 AM | How about a half-orc bard Haha...But possible yes...hmm a rouge....something I will have fun with..A half-elf rouge...driven to thievery due to being hlaf-blooded...I dunno just a thought |
| Orcdoubleax02-06-07, 09:59 AM | I tell you what I do. I work this way. I start with a concept then fit class and skill to suit. For instance: A guilt riiden drunk - likly a fighter or barbarian A timid school boy - wizard or cleric a more detail example Thomas was in the army. He was the guy that could get what ever you needed. He knew the angles and was friends with every quarter master. that was until he got caught with is hand in the wrong cookie jar and got booted out. Now he stuck out in the world with no direction. He knows he doesn't want to go back to being a cooper like his father, but the only other thing he knows is the army. In this example I had to choose between a fighter or rogue. I comprimised and with with a roguish fighter. Thomas is now 12th level and the count of a small county. :) anyway that how I start a character. |
| SpartanLeonidas02-06-07, 11:35 AM | That's a pretty solid idea. Come up with a character concept, then attach a class to it... |
| Odinfurysword02-06-07, 11:55 AM | thats a very good Idea...hmmmwhat sho uld I do with a ranger/fighter? |
| Jenkins00702-08-07, 01:27 AM | Depends on what you mean by 'do'. Now if you meant 'could' instead of 'should' I could offer some suggestions. Until then...:dancin: |
