With the bonus to STR, Large size and four legs, you will become a wonderful grappler.

Were you an evil drow?

At first, you could be scared, because a centaur could look like a drider. But soon, you realize you are still yourself, that you are stronger, that you are physically different. And (if the one who killed you is still alive) that you have a revenge to do.

Remember now that he's Large his fists do more damage (one die higher) and if you're playing 3.0 his level 20 speed is 150ft, not 90ft as for human (or drow) monks. And his movement speed now is 66ft, not 40ft like it would be for human (or drow) monks. This is for if you're playing 3.0, no idea for 3.5

Take the Mounted combat feat chain now that you qualify for them without a mount. Spirited Charge = 2x damage. I don't know if this is the right flavor for your character, but oh well. A centuar monk is going to run VERY fast, bash some brains out if you have to strength to do it.

Yeah and remember you can use horse-shoes! So you can get those Horseshoes of Speed, or the Horseshoes of a Zephryi (lets you run over water and stuff!). For raw speed, if you want to be really really fast, wait till you're level 20 (run speed either 110' or 150', depending on which version you are using), and then get a Saddle of Speed 5(you can wear saddles as well, you ARE half horse...) which boosts it another 50', so you have a movement of either 200' or 160' feet. Get the Horseshoes of Speed, and you're now moving at either 400' or 320'....take the Run feat, and get a Ring of Jump and you can run at 2,000' or 1,600' (3.0 and 3.5, respectively). Imagine your jump at that sort of speed!

As for character development...I'm not sure with reincarnate but with just a normal centaur I always played mine (he was an ex-slave, very naive) very innocently and timidly, but fearsome in combat.
