| Myer Lynk04-13-04, 02:59 PM | Good afternoon to all those who have wandered into this question!! I am planning on making myself a nice little character who is going to have 5 levels in each of these classes, rogue, ftr, sor, and spellsword... I know your thinking to yourself why?!! but of course I have my reasons One of which is I am trying to roleplay a half elf just trying to find his place in the world. But in order to achieve this I need two things from you: 1.How would I go about delving into my innate power as a sorcerer? 2.How could I roleplay this goal effectively without seeming like a god player?! |

Your spellcasting won't be up to snuff to really make you a threat at high levels with it. If you keep your classes balanced to avoid XP penalty, then by the time you're going into spellsword, around level 15 (assuming you take your PrC last), you'd have 2nd level arcane spells. You'll have fewer SA dice than a straight rogue, and fewer rogue special abilities. Class selection alone doesn't make someone a powergamer 99% of the time. I will suggest mechanically though dropping the 5th level each of fighter and sorcerer and adding a 6th and 7th of Spellsword. Better end BAB, same caster level. |
