Doorstop 06-22-06, 01:34 PM	I'm just wondering- are there any classes that grant immortality? I'm vaguely aware of a couple so I'll elaborate- are there any classes that grant say, uber-immortality? I know Elans are somewhat unaging, so let's skip them. Also, are there any classes that incorporate something akin to "merging" with other characters? I became fascinated with the idea after reading the star wars darkside supplement. you know, that force power that let's you take over another character's body forever? I think it's equivalent is something like a permanent magic jar effect. The character concept is somewhat cliché: the amnesiac immortal ("who am I? How long have I lived? I'm so conflicted!"). Although that might change considerably if I could find any class feature akin to the one stated in above paragraph

True Mind Switch gives you someone else's body permanently, a Psionic power costing 17 power points and 10,000 XP and can be done in chains to achieve Parasitic Immortality (Not a trait, feat, ability, etc. just a State of Being, really really long state at that :P)
Fithero 06-22-06, 09:14 PM	The Cloud Anchorite from frost burn gives you immortality by 10th level (no longer has a maximum age, ie: never dies of old age...) I dont know what this would mean in terms of bonuses and negatives for aging, but if you were a high level druid or monk, you could combine it with their timeless body class features to be truly immortal. Apart from that i wouldnt know mate... try and work with your dm to create some sort of rp gained mortality... "leg of frog and eye of newt style/ and or holy grail" style if you will. Hope it goes well for you. Later
