Well, since he is an incubus, his job is to seduce women. So you could have a complicated backstory involving the seduction and corruptions of several women. This could range from the corruption of some pure hearted chaste comely young lass, or the corruption of a older queen of a kingdom into a descent into debauchery that drags the rest of her kingdom with her, as she produces perverse laws enforcing various kinda of "naughtiness"!

:D

Such as creating laws that enforce people must engage in "perverse act A" publicly in the village square before their 20th birthday! Or laws that actually encourages and rewards women commiting adultery! Or laws that demand foriegners who enter the country must engage in "Perverse Act C" and do so publicly in every village, town, etc they pass through to make up for not living in said perverse kingdom and the city/town/village guards are more than happy to oblige those who are too shy to engage willingly. (forces PC's to travel through the wilderness). :smirk:

Though the above kingdom is really up to your DM's ok....

If you wish I could PM you with more law examples. I don't want to get innappropriate on this board.

Who knows, he could be aloof to the typical concerns of Incubi, and searches the world tirelessly for a certain shade of green...

Personally, In My Humble Opinion (IMHO), I think even messing up a whole kingdom isn't out of his reach.

He is the succubi's counterpart, the ultimate expression of raw male lust and seduction of women into sinful lustful lives... It has nothing to do with your level, merely who you've gotten close to, and who you've talked to, and who you've eventually corrupted...

Since you're starting at 1st level, this probably won't work, but an interesting concept would be an Incubus who, having perhaps literally seen and done it all, is quite simply bored. His chaotic aspect would probably be prominent over his evil one, although he could still be a selfish, petty cynic.

Having been summoned from the Abyss perhaps two or three centuries ago, he has spent the past age wandering the world without purpose or interest, tired even of his race's purpose in life. Instead of seducing women, he spends his time casting a cynical eye on art and literature and pronouncing it inferior.

He joins a band of adventures, alignment and purpose irrelevant, simply to experience something different in life - battle, adventure, even danger.

Perhaps not appropriate to your campaign, but he'd be fun to play.:D

(NOTE: You could say that, rather than actually being 1st level, he simply doesn't care enough to use any powers beyond those he would have at that level against the opposition the party faces. Mechanically he would stay 1st level, but in actuality he is simply using more power with each level increase because new, stronger, and more interesting opposition arises.)

My incubus left the Abyss because he was tired of the ratrace there and thought the prime plane would be a good place to have fun, make money and seduce a lot of women. Not complicated, but very fun.

BTW, consider taking a level of rogue. It`s very useful for an incubus.
