Drock 02-02-04, 09:56 AM	Dont laugh! He was my hero growing up! I've got a cleric that i want to be similar to Indiana Jones. Indy was a gifted history professor with a flare for adventure. I like his ability to be smooth and easy going but still run through temples, get the gold, and save the girl. He wasn't the strongest or fastest guy in the world but he got the job done! Right now i'm running (slowly) with full plate and what not but i think thats too slow and clunky. I thought of taking a level or two or rogue to diversify his skills like diplomacy, a little tumble and jump. Do you guys think its possible to keep all cleric levels and just take the skills i want ( jump, tumble, diplomacy, language skills). I dont have a problem with the knowledge skills, i have Knowleged Arcana and Religion, a decent heal and concentration scores. Str 14 Dex 13 Con 16 Wis 18 Int 13 Cha 17 Right now he's a CG cleric of Odin with the domains Magic and War. At 5th level I have Scribe Scroll, Power Atk, and Divine Might. I'm coming up on my 6th level feat and i'm not sure what exactly to do. I'm thinking of dropping to light armor and shield and taking advantage of the extra move and not having a ton of negs to all my skills. Our group has enough front line fighters that i wont be getting into melee all that much. He grew up in the frozen tundra with in a nomadic society but after an unsuccessful raid to the south he was stranded in a more civilized part of the world. He entered a temple and began training as a scribe at first and then realized his desire to become a cleric and seek out secrets and mysteries for the church. If you know of a prestige class that would work that might give me access to a third domain, i thought of taking the Knowledge domain. Any advice you guys could give me about steering my cleric to be a little more light hearted and light on his feet would be appreciated. If you need more details just ask, i'll be happy to provide.
horndgod 02-02-04, 11:29 PM	One of the best ways to get a third domain is the Contemplative PrC from Defenders of the Faith. Requires Knowledge(religion) 13 ranks and you must have met your deity or an agent thereof. First level gives you a prestige domain.
