His mother did not give him a name, for he was different from the rest of their kind. Born of a handmaided, she felt a moment of compassion. She decided not to drown him immediately after his birth, or gut him with a dagger. instead she left him on the surface hoping that some creature would at least get a tasty meal out of him.

Fate thought to otherwise intervene, as he was rescued by a passing farmer. The aging man thought nothing of this tiny squawling child. The little boy looked like a moon elf to him, so he thought him just as such. He also knew this youth would outlive him by decades, so he gave the child to loving moon elf parents who were initially happy to raise the child they named Aristine Irthia

But that happiness faded once the boys eyes became uncommonly yellow and his demeanor became more of a twisted snarl. His skin only grew paler than that of a moon elf, and his hair grew blacker as well. Snow white his skin almost was. And the boy presented himself as inherently dark and vicious.

To hopefully discipline him, they sent him to wizards school, having seen his growing magical talent after all these years, but he chose a different life. After killing a fellow student, he bade farewell to the school, stealing what texts he could, however temporary they were.

He grew into a man, and one day, finally found out his dark heritage. He was a drow, a mutation on their standard pigments. He was reversed, pale skin and black hair. He began to delve deeper, and from this sprung his hatred of nearly everyone, but most specifically the race that abandoned him.

now in games terms, he's a CE Drow* Wizard/Rogue my favorite combo is the ol' invisibilty/sneak attack. I'd really like to play him out, since he's my first evil character.

and now i've run out of things to say. good day.

Well, it could have be a good background for a "Not Evil" drow. Perhaps the whole "inverted pigmentation" is a bit too much, since he no longer looks like a drow. A great part of playing a drow is "looking like" a drow, for both ill and good. He could perhaps have been brown instead of black; this would be enough to be an "aberration" for a drow mother.
