Hello, I am just wondering if there is something so I can have sneak attack by giving up favorit enemy, I like sneak attack and sniping from afar, any sujestions for that? Also wondering if there is any way to mix Rouge and Ranger to get sneak attack and some Ranger skills with dark/low-light vision, I am temted to make a peach class to do so, but before that I am wondering if there is a way for a human to get dark/lowlight vision. Oh cant use DR things.

One level of the Horizon Walker prestiege class (from the DMG, also in the SRD (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/prestigeClasses/horizonWalker.htm)) can get Darkvision if you choose the Cavern terrain type.

I'm not sure if Favored Enemy is powerful enough to be swapped out for Sneak Attack. Probably not. Maybe if you lost Favored Enemy and Combat Style-- but then, if you're using Sneak Attack, you'll probably want the Two Weapon Fighting style.

There is, however, the Wilderness Rogue variant from Unearthed Arcana (also found in the SRD (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/variant/classes/variantCharacterClasses.htm#rogueVariant WildernessRogue)) which is basically a Rogue with a few class skills swapped out for more Ranger-like skills.

The Scout (Complete Adventurer) has Skirmish, an ability somewhat similar to Sneak Attack, and many Ranger-like abilities. Also, the feat Swift Hunter (Complete Scoundrel) allows Ranger and Scout levels to stack for the purpose of Skirmish and Favored Enemy, and allows Skirmish to apply to Favored Enemies that are immune to criticals (so if you have Favored Enemy: Construct, you can deal Skirmish damage to Golems). This strategy works well with the Archery combat style and the Greater Manyshot feat (from the Expanded Psionics Handbook, although it's not a psionic feat; it's also in the SRD (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/psionic/psionicFeats.htm#greaterManyshot).)

o.o nice, never seen any of them, might think of getting the Horizon Walker. I also think that that would be a good Idea for that, ranger and scout. So I am thinking of being a ranger/Horizon Walker class.

If you do decide to use a Ranger/Scout with the Swift Hunter feat, there are some suggestions (http://forums.gleemax.com/showthread.php?t=854152) on the CharOp board. (Feel free to use as little or as much of the advice as you feel comfortable with.)

Also keep in mind that Skirmish is similar to Sneak Attack in a few ways, but it's triggered differently: by moving.
