Hey everyone, I posted this over on D&D General. Since it's such a great resource for this board as well, here (http://boards1.wizards.com/showthread.php?t=586061) is a link. In it you'll find a bunch of questions for helping players fill in their PC backgrounds. I've used it for myself, and asked my players to use it when DMing.

There were 100 questions, but I edited some of them out, probably due to maturity issues. (I can't remember specifically why, but I know we had the sons of 2 players in our group, and they would have been underaged at the time.)

Enjoy

Cheers

Otto :)

If you wouldn't mind, I'd like to see the full list of questions... you could email/PM me with it if you would prefer not to post here.

Also would you mind if I posted your questions on my own messageboard for my gaming group to use?

That is quite a good list. I too put together a a questionaire for characters (the link is in my signature) but I did it a little differently. there are some things where we overlap and some where we don't. Take a look and let me know what you think.

Thanks guys.

I no longer have the edited questions. I saved the file as you see it. Sorry :( .

Feel free to use this however you'd like. Just know that I didn't put the list together. Some other gamer did it. I just happened to find it some years ago and copied it.

That's also a great questionaire Harrow. Nice job.

Cheers

I have a link in my sig to a list of 100 questions, not sure if it's the same...

EDIT: Yes, it's the same list, and it's complete! :P
While it's obvious why some questions are :censored: in Otto's list (Are you virgin?), I wonder why some other ones are (Do you like school?)...

Well, there we go! Awesome.

I can only speculate on why I left some of the others out. The mature content ones are easy to figure out based on my earlier reasoning. The others are not so easy. Perhaps I thought at that time that those questions were irrelevant or just outright silly ("What do you have in your pockets?" WTF!?)

The three "As a child" questions are harder to explain away. Those are good questions regardless of maturity level of the group. I guess I just don't know why I omitted those.

follow-up edit: One thing has been tickling the back of my mind since I started these threads to share the list of questions. Then, lightning struck my brain. Here (http://www.geocities.com/poetess47/100questions.html)is the original location of the questions -- 8/12/02 was the latest revision. Anyway, just a little more info to share.

Cheers

Otto :)
