With all the new feats and classes and prc's and everything.

How would you build a Jedi knight with a 32 point build?

This is just a curiosity thing so please give me any advice or build you have?

thanks :D

i would probably build a Jedi just like a Paladin.

in fact, with a few changes to the spell list, i might just rewrite the flavor text of the Paladin and call it a Jedi Knight. i could see that easily.

For weapons, they would most likely be Brilliant Energy, and I always pictured Jedi as Monks...the whole "inner focus" and "ki" (the force, Luke) thing.

A brilliant energy sword would do the trick to a point... it would not however cover against fighting animated objects or constructs it would just past right through it.. Good idea though, I would probably get a specialty weapon made or redesign the weapon

as for the build I agree w/ using a monk you would have to aquire a few at will abilities or atleast spell like abilities like jump, expeditious retreat, mage hand, ghost sound, mage armor/shield (couldn't hurt),telekinesis...

Or if you don't want to worry about tweaking things that much I might recommend a fighter/sorcerer :D access to all those spells and feats becuase as we have seen jedi are not very skill oriented just mainly combat and "magic" oriented.

Thats my two copper though I don't know how Myer might feel on all this but he did ask for options.......

one way to do it would be to take a level or 2 in soulknife, and a few levels of psion for powers like mind thrust, attraction, and a few other force like powers.

soulknife is for the mindblade, which is bascially a lightsabre without the hand, just pure energy.

well except that the responsiblity to be negotiators, protectors, know-it-all's and just darn cool requires at least some skills

Very true, so a lot of knowledge skills would be needed aswell as dipolmacy

wow sounds like an uber class or a lot of levels would be needed to make this kind of build

what about a sorcerer/mindspy/master of the unseen hand/fighter ???
