| Fineghal07-25-03, 11:42 AM | My DM wanted a very non-conventional paladin... So I agree make one and this is what I get: A sword and board paladin of Sune. CG :smirk: Now my problem is this, I got insanely good stats. 18 St. 14 Dex 18 Con 12 Int 13 Wis 18 Cha Now aside from the RP goodness of being a Chaotic Good Paladin of Sune and of trying to make the half-orc barbarian pretty...;) Here is my extremely lengthy background condensed: Parents lost in big city, ends up in orphanage for 7 years, runs away, finds an inn, gets accosted by a patron, kills him, runs away from the inn, winds up in a temple specifically dedicated to training paladins. He eventually becomes a paladin and goes off on a quest to prove himself as paladins from the particular order/temple are wont to do. As you can see from my poorly typed and extremely condensed Char Background, it doesn't give me much in the way of Char ideas. I normally prefer to have my stats at least give me a hint of his physical/mental characteristics but ah well... How can I roleplay this character? |

It's not an answer to your question, but might influence your choices and that would, in turn, influence how you roleplay the character! :) |

You're the Fabio-looking guy with the shirt that can't stay closed. I mean that in the nicest way possible :D. Seriously, a follower of Sune is going to be out for passion, in one form or another, but preferably romantic. You're the quintessential knight in shining armor to every damsel in distress. You're Captain Kirk! That's what you've got to think of, I think. As a paladin, you stand up for your ideals and fight for your goals. You also find the time to swoon that hot elf while you rescue her village, probably nail her (if you'll pardon the expression), and then explain how your duty has to come first, so you can't stick around. Wash, rinse, repeat. You'll have to manage to simultaneously be the goody-goody and the bad-body heartbreaker. As a warning, beware of too many jokes involving your sword. You know the ones I mean. |
