| jcintro204-18-05, 09:09 AM | Good morning I m going to be starting in a campaign (GM's homebrew world) which seems to resemble a Forgotten Realms setting (the campaign mostly takes place around a Dwarven stronghold which strongly resembles Mithral Hall of RA Salvatore fame). I am playing a Killoren barbarian (from Races of the Wild). i am a big fan of them just because of the fact that they act as Nature's emissaries to some extent. however as far as a background for him, i am drawing a blank. Can anyone help or at least give me a direction to go with for this character? thanks. |
| jcintro204-18-05, 08:17 PM | OK, he is chaotic good (one of my favorite alignments). Stats are as follows: STR 16 DEX 15 CON 15 INT 12 WIS 13 CHA 12. Feats i have taken so far, well i'm following the feat chain of Extra Rage and Extend Rage (1st and 3rd lvl respectively), reason why he is starting off at 3rd level is because everybody else is playing level-adjusted racial characters, 2 Drow 1 Githzerai 1 Duergar and myself. More or less the concept i have is that he is Nature's avenging arm, since this Dwarven stronghold has a large forest next to it. Killorens are cool in the fact that they not only represent nature, but they are nature. Pretty much his weapon of choice is going to be a greatsword. |

Last I checked they tended to stick to Limbo. How and why a character got to where they are now are some good starts for character developement. |

The reason the two Drow are there was because during the last Drow invasion they were infants, and the Dwarves had found them and were about to just kill them outright when an Elder Druid interceded for them and offered to raise them as his own. Now these two Drow have grown up, and are frequent visitors to the stronghold (not entirely welcome of course). As for the Githzerai I have no idea but the GM is working on that. As far as my Killoren, this time period may be when they first start appearing, but my mind is a blank as to the specifics. |
