Hi, i want to play a Kobold Paladin and i have little to no idea why he should be LG if all around him are LE as most Kobolds. I want him to belong to a koboldtribe. I though along the line of the tribe raids a small village, and he found a child that was hidden as the village got attacked and now he want to protect it. So he took the child/baby and secretly left his tribe. He was unhappy with the behaving of the other kobolds anyway, and kind of an outcst because of his high morals. Now he try to give it back to some other humans so they could look after it...

But i need an idea why he becomes so protective of the helpless and moraly strong in the first place. Any ideas?

Maybe some other creature helped him out when he was young, it doesnt have to have been a big thing, They might have just thrown him a scrap of meet, but it had to show him that helping others made him feel good...or something like that.

Basically the way i see good is that you help others, so maybe he just likes making others feel the way he did when he was helped out. Its actually more interesting (i believe) if something big comes from an event so small.

Thats about all i can think of. Just because he is LG, dont make him shy away from traps, its what he is good at so use it.

Mayby when the Kobold was young some adventurers broke in and started killing everyone, but either spared him because of his youth. a lawfull evil character might consider letting the kid go repayment to the human race in general, which could get him thinking about what those rules are FOR
