Alright, so I've spent the past two weeks building up a gish character for an FR game that starts tomorrow. I've had the character idea for YEARS and never found a group to use him in. I was all set to bust out the badassery. Until ten minutes ago. The idea of a Gnome Artificer (yes, Eberron class, but it's being allowed) out to build his own...erm...BattleMech was too good to pass up. The ZANINESS POTENTIAL, I TELL YOU! IT WOULD BE CRIMINAL TO NEGLECT SUCH A CONCEPT! Alignment is likely Chaotic Neutral, *maybe* Chaotic Good. I'm going for the typical zany gnome, gadget-obsessed, makes tons of useless gadgetry (I intend to start play with the revolutionary SPRING LOADED BEDROLL! It has, unfortunately, been known to roll closed while in use...). Concept, to re-iterate, is building a big, mean battlemech, complete with a gatling wand turret, jump jets, all sorts of fun stuff. Any fun ideas for silly side-gadgetry he could make to saddle the party with? I want to "upgrade" the everloving carp out of everything in sight.
