I always have alot of trouble writing bckstory for my characters well now it is neccassary to play in a campaign, I was hoping to get some help from you guys.

The build is an old Cleric 6/ Radiant Servant of ..... 4 named Julian MacDermont.

Str 10
Dex 6
Con 12
Int 10
Wis 22
Cha 16

Feats in no order are Extra Turning x2, Touch of healing [reserve], Sacred Vitality and Divine ward

The starting grounds are in the Dalelands of FR, and the party so far consists of a Crusader and soul bow and one undecided. The group has been travelling for many years together and I really dont know where to start with his life. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have found a god that has both healing and sun, though now the problem is it is the god worshipped by giants, i want to write this in to my story, with out having my human parents dead. Iallanis is his name a lesser diety

My acronym knowledge is not all that great so what is RSoP? And as a cleric which god do you follow? Also if you are from the Dalelands what Dale are you from? What alignment are you as well?

I thought Lathander had both healing and sun as well.... Aside the point though. As for why your wandering if your group has been together for long its because of simple loyalty. You may have started on a pilgramage or perhaps your groups backstory (assuming its unwritten as of so far) involved a quest for the church and you joined them thusly. I'd need to know more about the background you already have for the group as a whole to give you a better response.

If Illanis is your god of choice tell me a bit of his dogma too. I'd need to know that to get any idea of your beliefs.

He was saved by a fire/sun giant cleric from some great evil. While he was recovering from his grievous wounds with aid of the giant's spells,he was impressed with this giant's faith and how he liked his goddess.More so why this giant goddess would heal a non-giant such as him.The giant smiled and told that this goddess, doesn't discriminate and that all she cares about is that love, beauty, mercy and good be nurtured. So impressed was your cleric that he took up worshipping iallanis and spreading word of her

Have you considered that you may be a wandering preacher? If Illanis allows non-giant followers and says her followers should care for all races perhaps you feel, as one of her faithful, that you need to spread her worship amongst the non-giant races?

Assuming most people think Giants are evil and Illanis is a good of healing who believes all races should be cared for. As one of the few devout non-giant followers you could be her link beyond the Giant races. You wander the world showing the charity and grace of this Giant diety trying to bring the light of the good Giants to the world.
