Lines for a Cleric of Death [Archive] - Wizards Community

At a young age, Maimus's father was murdered by the Crusaders of Terminal in a raid on the city. The girl's mother admitted her to the Church of The Water so that the girl could better understand the meaning of death and come to peace with her father's murderer. However it was only a short time later that Maimus's mother took her own life. The young priestess coming home to find her mother with a knife through her heart the the kitchen. Maimus hours praying and casting healing spell on the body of her mother, but eventually gave up and took the body to the church, pleading for a resurrection. A few days later a priest came to her to say the resurrection had failed, though he couldn't bring himself to tell her that it was because her mother's soul refused to come back. After several years of mourning she reentered the clergy of the Watcher and became an ordained Watcher of Fate and decided she would seek a way to resurrect her family elsewhere, she went to say goodbye to her sister at the chapel, only to find that she had hung herself in her room, Maimus left without a word to anyone else after that. Death walked everywhere she did, or so she thought, it had taken her family, but she had been taught this was natural, conflicted the young Watcher walks the worlds in search of answers.

Alright so I need some quotes for my little truth seeking death cleric here.

07-05-07, 08:26 PM I like those ^-^ However the Watcher doesn't frown upon the most undead(The Watcher teaches that Incorporeal Undead are all part of fate's manifestation, but desecrating of a dead body is tampering with fate.(Liches and Vampires considered the exception to this rule)

Perhaps refers to undead as "The Fated Ones" or "The Awakened" or some other euphemism referring to fate and knowledge.

Did I mention that the Watcher's favored weapon is the short sword? I guess I did. Well it's the short sword.
