08-16-05, 12:36 AM so, im making a fighter/wizard, and i need some advice. he hails from calimshan, and other than the forgotten realms campaign setting, i have no idea what the land is like at all. i understand it is kinda persain-esk, with genie's and flying carpets and all, but i cant seem to find any other sorces to help me flesh out a background and personality. does anyone know of novels or sourcebooks that can give me some ideas? thanks a lot in advance for any suggestions.

Also, check the WotC archives (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/dnd/downloads) and download the Acrobat document on Calimport.
