| KecCombine09-05-03, 10:26 PM | I'm playing a LN Elven Assassin who has been assigned to protect a member of his family, a very prissy, uncombat oriented sorceress, who is another PC. Playing off the best defense is a good offense scheme, but I'm having trouble coming up with a decent background. All I am restrained by is general laws of physics, and growing up in an elven city before accompanying my charge to a very lawfull free city. |

| Morka09-06-03, 02:04 PM | You are lawful? No problem, the princess' father (the king, I assume) saved your life in some way. So you gave your live to him and his familly. Or if the king is evil, he could hold your familly in ostage. You can be member of an order dedicated to protect the royal familly. I don't know the total background, but you can be member of the princess' personnal guard, and you are the only two survivor of an attack during a trip. |

His motivation could be that he has given his word...most soldier types are LN allignment and they do their duty no matter how unpleasant it may be. |
