LonelyGirl15 saga as an inspiration for a D&D character? [Archive] - Wizards Community

Okay. This is a really, really silly idea.

Nonetheless... I recently started watching the LonelyGirl15 saga on YouTube. It's probably not as exhilirating for me as it was for people who started watching when they thought that her stories were actually true, but I've nonetheless found them rather entertaining and well-written.

Anyway, it occurred to me that some of the characters' circumstances -- on the run from mysterious enemies, with parents who have "disappeared" -- seem like many stereotypical D&D backgrounds, and the bit about Bree being raised as the "chosen" of an evil cult seems to fit right into D&D.

I'm thinking that Bree might be an archivist -- collecting dark, esoteric knowledge and attempting to research The Order of which she's been a part so long but still knows so little.

Daniel would be a rogue, given his prospensity for infiltrating people's apartments, warehouses, etc. His level-headedness and reliability in contrast to Bree's flakiness belies the rogue stereotype as a selfish and unreliable, but I'm not a fan of that stereotype anyway.

Jonas is an aristocrat, I suppose.

Not sure about Gemma.

Meh.

Silly, I know, but what the heck.

(I'm only up to the "Daniel's a liar" video from four months ago, so I'm not sure if there are things that I'm including here that are obsolete.)
