| yoippari02-09-06, 12:39 AM | I have seen a lot of summaries of backgrounds and I have seen a few decent or what I assume standard backgrounds. But what makes a really good background? I am writing a background for a backup character that will replace my current character if/when he dies. But I am stuck. I have a basic background, I am trying to write some dialog to help establish personality, but I have no idea if what I am writing is what makes a good background. I mean one that a dm might give some extra xp for, one that the dm actually enjoys reading. |

There are a few examples of backgounds in the character background bank (link in my sig) and if you need help with you background then take a look at the background questionaire (also in my sig). Hope this helps, if all else fails pm me and I'll do my best Harrow Blade |
