Aluroon 06-17-04, 07:53 PM	Hey, I finally found a new dm, and he's ready to start up a campain either this week or next. He seams like he is on the level, so we'll see how it goes. My character Idea for this campain is a Red Wizard of Thay (FR). The campain will start at level 3 so he wont have levels of the prestige class yet though. Maybe a few veit's of this board could give it a look over and give some advice? Currently what I have for the character is as follows. Lucifer _______ Male Human Illusionest 3 (Prohibited School: Enchantment). Deity: Mask Height:6'2 Age:23 Hair: Black, shaved on most of his head except for one long (2 1/2 foot braid in the back. Eyes: Black or silver His abillitys scores are Str:8 Dex:14 Con:14 Int:18 Wis:16 Cha:15 (please no comments about how high they are) Feats:Scribe Scroll, Tatto Focus: Illusion, Spellcasting Prodigy, Enlarge spell. As for his personallity and what I have of his history: Lucifer is a strange person. He is cold and emontionless to most people, yet suprisingly kind to animals, proticualry flying ones, sometimes even nursing wounded birds back to health when he finds them. He likes to be in control of whatever situaltion he is in and gets very unconferatable when being menepulated. He is not overly cruel, yet his action are certonly not good. He has spent his life amoung red wizards. He doesnt rememeber his parents faces. His earlyest memery is of a simmer of silver threads and a flash of light (Wink, Wink) His childhood was one of constently being moved around by his red wizard keepers, sometimes hurridly. His has always found magic comes easily to him, naterally. Now for what I need help with: I'm not sure what his alignment should be, My first thought was LE or NE, although he doesnt really reconize a big difference between good and evil. He doesnt see his actions as either, infact he doesnt really see a line between the two. This lead me to think he might be more N. However his actions are certonly evil. What do you all think? Anyone have any more ideas as to his history? I have some ideas but am kind of fishing for others as all mine seem kind of like clicies. Any help? Well thats about it. I'll also be posting this in the FR forems incase anyone decides to comment on that here. Aluroon

Morka 06-19-04, 01:47 PM	It's strange that an orphan would be raised by Red Wizard, no? His parents are certainly not poor peasants who let their 17th new born before the door of a Red Wizard Academy in the hope the child would have a better future, because Red Wizard would probably have let him die. Even if it was the children of some noble, it would have been hard to convince some Red Wizards to raise him. So what if your character is the son of some Zulkir? Perhaps the son of the Zulkir of Illusion? Or more probably, the son of another Zulkir, entrusted to an Academy of Illusionnist, as a willing hostage for a long-term alliance between two schools? But perhaps his parents aren't Red Wizard at all. They could still be powerful wizards or sorcerors, or of any politician or priest, and it's better to have someone they love to make some pressure on them. As for the alignment, I guess it could depend on your campain. Is it an evil campain? If yes, go evil, if no, you should be restricted to Lawful Evil, since the rest of your party would prefer not be killed during their sleep. You could as well play him as someone who doesn't care at all about people in general, who won't do anything if someone is attacked in a public area, but who will help if someone personnally ask him. And strangely, this character will still have an easy way with animals in general! I supposed you will make good use of Summon Monster spells...
Aluroon 06-20-04, 01:11 PM	I thought about the idea as the son of a zulkar, however until i get some more info on them I'm hard pressed to write a convencing history. thanks for the ideas. Any other takers? Aluroon
SzassTamFollower 09-29-04, 05:58 PM	I like that idea of being a child zulkar of illusion or maby his parnents were killed by chosen of mystria and he was told this by his teacher who he later murdered in his sleep i dunno i makin a red wizard 2 but he necro and follower of szass tam obvously but yeah i like feat choice and stuff :heehee :bounce: :hoppingma :pile: :mage: :banghead: dunno why i just posted those

How did you even find it? (Btw the character was killed when he got sneak attacked for a :censored: load of damage at level 7, but he was fun until he died) Aluroon
