Hi folks!

I'd like a little guidance or ideas on how my character might act in the following situation:
Mara is a cleric/monk of Shar (http://forgottenrealms.wikia.com/wiki/Shar) and although her devotion is fanatic she has at one point dared to make demands of her goddess instead of humble pleas. Shar of course was not amused and Mara was punished with a lot of wisdom damage.

Her wisdom is at 9 at the moment and she cannot cast spells anymore, but it will heal over time. Meanwhile i want to use the opportunity to act it out. So, how might that look like? Confusion? Insanity? I want to go for something more mild but i need ideas on how the character could react to this.

Thank you for your replies in advance!

Ravenloft has A TON of ideas to help you roleplay this. Look at what happens when characters fail Fear saves, Horror saves and Madness saves.

Also, Wisdom damage means she's less perceptive/attentive, has amnesia/memory loss, is more easily fooled, forgets things, has a short attention span...

In other words, she's like someone with Alzheimer. Have a blast with the roleplaying!

Consider acting her out as a little slow. Not stupid, she can still reach the same conclussion she would have before, it just takes her longer to process now.

You could play her as being fixated on penitence and despair over her own hubris and the reaction of her goddess. As the damage heals, she recovers from her brief lapse in judgement and comes to terms with what happened.
