So I am creating a 10th level Gestalt for a friends game. I already have most of my Feats and spells picked. I just need a little help tweaking his persona.

Lucifer (Fallen Aasimar)

Cleric9//Healer9

Stats:

Str: 12
Dex: 10
Con: 15
Int: 12
Wis: 22
Cha: 22

*the high Wis and Cha come from the Aasimar boost, level boosts, and items*

The way I am playing him is as a reluctant but very effective healer. I noticed the ability of the Healer class to add your Cha bonus to any Cure spell you cast...so even a simple Cure Light Wounds now does a minimum of like 16 healing *unless my math is off*. He will use his Cleric side and some DMM-cheese to Persist both Divine Power and Righteous Might just in case the party can't finish off the baddies, or I feel the urge to go in and mix it up.

What I woud like are some more ideas for personality traits I could give him. Any help would be appreciated.

What alignment is he... and why on earth would you call him Lucifer?

The name is just a "work in progress" since it is basically where I got the idea. Lucifer was the most powerful/beautiful angel and then became prideful so fell from glory. That is kind of the story I have for this guy.

He will be of evil alignment mostly so he can spontaneously cast inflict spells. My DM is fine with my blending these two classes. He is even working on a substitute for the Celestial Unicorn Companion the Healer gets. We are tweaking the Nightmare so it isn't quite as powerful.

yeah, lucifer was quite the rebel.

If you're going to be Lucifer, then you might as well go with the Pride concept...

You bow your head to no one, not even the gods. When you ask your gods for spells, you do it with your eyes turned towards the sky and in a loud voice, refusing to show humility for a being that is merely divine ashes, too primitive to die and too unknowing to live.

You are the best, and don't you forget it.

why would you waste time on being everyone elses healing monkey? lucifer just implies that you turn on the party and kill them. You should do fighter/cleric of tempus. then you take divine meta magic quicken spell and with that you take all the weapon feats you can.
1st rd: quicken enlarge, cast bull strenght onself.
2nd rd: charge into combat and lay the smakedown!!

your playing the same way we play, and trust me, depending on the number of people in the party you won't need much healing.

The reason I was doing the Healer (class) was cause at the time no one else in the party had any sort of healing ability, and I was the last one to join...so they asked me to make a healer. I liked the idea of the Divine Power/Righteous Might Persist route, so I did that...and then realized that I would rather not waste my Cleric spells on healing (since I would be evil and use Inflict) so I tacked on Healer.

I realize it wasn't completely optimized, but that wasn't what I was going for. I was going for a character that could hold it's own in combat, and then afterwards put band-aids on everyone effectively.

I never actually used him...I went a different route cause another guy decided to play a Cleric, and he actually enjoys the support type roles.

Funny thing is, when I show up, he can't make it so we again have no healer, haha.

We did okay cause this week it was mostly social and sneaky, little to no combat, and that was more accidental than planned.

But I have changed characters since we have a true healer now (he will be there next time).

Our main antagonist is the "Shadow"...we have already thwarted them once, and now we are just chasing them down.

So, I had just recently bought Races of Destiny and noticed the PrC Shadow Sentinel, sounded perfect for this game.

So currently I am running with this idea, just waiting for DM consent.

Rogue 11//Warblade 5/Shadow Sentinel 6

I have a silly high Int and I have always wanted to play a character with Skill points to burn, so I am taking Rogue all the way, plus SA is pretty nice when combined with some other abilities of the other two classes.

Warblade gives me my Int bonus to Reflex saves so that is nice. And I am taking Iron Heart Surge as one of my Maneuvers for "just in case" type situations. Case in point.

The game we played Sunday had this happen, I had created a Druid/Monk character (the animal companion was sweet, but he doesn't come into play in this session).

Anyways, we are trying to get access to this library in an elven city, to bad it is kind of like the Library of Congress and not open to just anyone. So we try to speak to the local Administrator, we were expected and taken to a waiting room. *a soldier let slip, when admitting us to the palace, that only one of us would be allowed to speak to the "big cheese"* So we wait, for a few hours, and finally after we had been given a dinner did a servant come to take one of us away to make our request. Well, I was kind of bored (I wasn't a face type character) and we felt that a member of our group should be left alone, so I use Ye Olde Invisibility Ring to sneak out after them...the servant can't possibly make his Listen check against me, though my team mate did, though I hadn't told him I was actually going to follow him (in character that is). Teammate (let's call him Jake) asks to be shown to a bathroom so he can "powder his nose". What he actually does is cast Glibbness and I think Voice of the Dragon so he is all maxed out to talk to this guy. He arrives in the office and I slip in, and they start talking. I stay out of sight just in case this guy can see through Invis. The Admin invites Jake out to the veranda to enjoy the night sky while they talk. When they do this Jake feels a "loss", he just walked in an Anti-magic field that the Admin uses to make sure nothing bad happens out there. While they are out there I decide to check out the Admins desk looking for anything that may be useful. All I see are previous requests by people to see the library, it is possible these are agents of the "Shadow" so we now really really want to get there first.

Jake is Bluffing/Diplomacing his way through the chat and then brings up an artifact we recovered while stopping the Shadow the first time...it has attatched itself to one of our teammates and wish it to be looked at by the Admin. So they prepare to call him (call him Tim) to the office...it hits me that I will be missing from the waiting room when the servant gets there so I decide to fly out of the office off the porch and back to the room. Then it hits me (out of character) that the AMF will probably affect my Wildshape...the DM tells me I can't look at the PHB to check since that really is Meta-gaming at its worst...so I make the decision that yes, I will use the Wild-shape to fly out, even if it will affect me. I look at it and I was right, Supernatural abilities are effected (I had never played a Druid before so wasn't sure how it worked).

So, as the Admin and Jake come walking back through the door I zing out double time (as an Eagle so 80 ft Fly speed) and as I pass the door the DM asks for a Will save, I make it so don't scream out in surprise as I change into a visible human waving his arms in the air, and a Move Silently check with I miss so the Admin looks behind him and see a human man flying through the air and out over his porch. After I pass the field I turn back into a bird and look for a way back to the waiting room, I find an open window and book it on down. I get to the door at the same time as the servant so I slip in after him and plop down into a chair just as he notices I am missing, we all make Bluff checks and the other two people pass.....I do not...I am sitting in a chair sweating and huffing and puffing, looking very not innocent.

So yeah...little tangent there that had absolutely nothing to do with my current character.

What Feats should I look at for my Shadow Sentinel? I already took Able Learner so I can use my Rogue skill points effectively.

Thanks for your help.
